Our founder
Just For You Girlfriend was founded by Diane Deaderick-DeMartra, a former adolescent mom. In her prior roles as a college instructor, admissions counselor, program director, and volunteer, she has taught, advised, and/or mentored hundreds of adolescents and adults. Previously, she established mentoring programs at more than 20 Chicago high schools.

Through our proven mentoring model, to enlighten, educate, and empower inner-city female youth, especially those who are pregnant or parenting, with social-emotional learning, trauma coping skills, leadership development, tools to avoid violent/criminal behavior, and the knowledge to pursue post-secondary education and training for sustainable lifestyles.

That inner-city females, especially those who are parenting, will have the knowledge, connections, leadership skills, and post-secondary education and training to have careers with sustainable income, be able to establish safe and peaceful communities, and end the generational cycle of poverty for themselves, their children, and future generations.
