Just For You Girlfriend was founded by Diane Deaderick-DeMartra (Ms. D), In her prior roles in higher education, program leadership and volunteerism, she has taught and advocated for scores of inner-city youth. Ms. D is a Chicago Peace Fellow and holds degrees and certificates in education, leadership, and group facilitation.

To enlighten, educate, and empower inner-city female youth, especially those pregnant and parenting, so they may build resilience, pursue post-secondary education and make good choices that will help allow them to live safely and peacefully.

That inner-city female youth, especially pregnant and parenting female youth, will benefit from post secondary education to earn financially sustainable income, end the intergenerational cycle of poverty in their immediate families, continue to make good life choices and become advocates for safe and peaceful communities.
