We provide individual and group mentoring to teen girls and young women, especially teen and young, single moms, many of whom will be the first in their immediate families to seek post-secondary education. We encourage social/emotional learning, communication, and goal setting for good life choices and avoidance of criminal and deviant behavior.
Our workshops help teen girls and young women, especially teen and young single moms, develop crucial money management and life skills. We give participants the tools they need to manage and budget their money, and show them how to establish and maintain good credit through simple financial literacy. We offer presentations and training on life skills.
In keeping with "If you can see her, you can be her," we help teen girls and young women, especially teen and young, single moms, to explore, discuss, and possibly visualize career goals by providing a safe setting to meet and interact with career women. These connections give the participants opportunities to identify and interact with role models and potential mentors.
