Just For You Girlfriend, a nonprofit 501c3 organization, was founded in 2017 to mentor inner-city female youth, especially those who are pregnant and parenting, and help them cope with trauma, build self-esteem, avoid violence/criminal behavior, and pursue post-secondary education for careers with sustainable salaries.

Our proven mentoring model includes individual and group discussions and workshops for mentees with mentors, career professionals, and community leaders. We promote and focus on social-emotional learning, leadership development, racial history and equity, life skills, self-advocacy, and post-secondary education.

Just For You Girlfriend is served by a dedicated group of career women, some of whom were adolescent moms. These women are advocates for our mentees and are committed to helping them pursue post-secondary education for careers, and seek solutions to and avoid violence/criminal behavior in their communities.
