Just For You Girlfriend, a nonprofit 501c3 organization, was founded in 2017 to mentor inner-city female youth, especially those pregnant and parenting, and show them how to abide in peace and build resilience necessary for pursuit and success in post-secondary education/training to end the cycle of intergenerational poverty within their immediate families.

Our programs provide support with programs, workshops, and special events to help youth focus on their social emotional learning, communication, money, conflict resolution, leadership and self-advocacy skills. We also emphasize the consequences of deviant behavior that can unfortunately alter future aspirations and life trajectories.

Just For You Girlfriend is served by a dedicated group of female professionals and other volunteers, some of whom were teen moms. These women have cultural humility and act as workshop, special event and discussion leaders. They are committed to helping youth seek peaceful lives, build resiliency and pursue higher education or vocational training
